This next collection is from a 2010 loft
conversion in Broomhill, Sheffield. The loft space was by far the biggest I
have ever seen, it comprised of three large
rooms and an on suite bathroom. We completely
gutted the loft, stripped out all the old
lath and plaster and demolished all the walls
to create a large open plan living space.
We then insulated between the roof joists
with 100mm board insulation, then over-boarded
the entire room with 50mm insulated plasterboard and skimmed.
